'Smart-Set' Management

Steam Packet Radio 'Smart-Set' software provides a rich set of management and control features to enable tailoring and optimization of the performance and functionality of Air-Frame Products. Smart-Set includes:

Default Configuration	All products on initial power up will default to an operational state which means that radio specialists can do site installs but any required operational IP configuration can be handled by network specialists.
Local and Remote	All products may be configured locally or remotely using a Web or SNMP interface. Diagnostic and performance monitoring services are provided locally or remotely by SNMP and Telnet.
Access Control Lists	Configuration and diagnostic access is protected both by password and by an Access Control List in which specific IP address(es) and the allowed feature set may be defined. For configuration both read and write permissions may be set independently.
Application Upgrade	Application upgrades may be performed locally or remotely. Access to this feature may be controlled by the Access Control List.
Configuration	Products may be configured, locally or remotely, at a variety of levels via a Web interface or SNMP. The user may manipulate over 600 operating variables if required to achieve the optimum performance. Access to this feature may be controlled by the Access Control List.
Diagnostic Monitoring	Over 15 pages of information may be displayed showing the current state and operating condition of the product. Access to this feature may be controlled by the Access Control List.
Alarming	Air-Frame products may be configured to generate alarms (via SNMP Trap PDUs) and to send them to a nominated control center.
